I believe I'm a sex addict. I'm married to a wonderful husband who I love to death. He's great in bed but I still have had numerous affairs with both men and women. I love sex but I know its wrong. I just can't seem to get enough. I would love to have an open marriage but it would kill me for my husband to be with someone else. I'm always safe and have no std's but I know its still risky. I'm discreet but I have told my mother, sister and best friend. They think I should come clean, ask for forgiveness and see a shrink. What should I do?

coming clean WILL be the hardest thing you'll EVER do. &, i can't guarantee that you'll be satisfied with the outcome. however, coming clean is the first step to getting the help you need. I promise that after you come clean you'll wish you could go back in time. your world will start spinning and you might plunge into a deep state of depression. SO, get a support system in place, prepare to be strong, and know that when this phase in your life is over you will have conquered something greater then yourself. You will grow in so many ways, but it will be a long, painful road.
However, if you decide not to come clean you leave yourself exposed. A lover could rat you out, you could get a disease, or just get caught. And, if you husband finds out this way his chances of forgiving you are slim. Best of luck with whatever road you decide to take.
