I consider myself a hedonist, my personal view of the meaning of life is it is short and that you should seek out as much enjoyment and happiness as you can, as often as you can, as long as you are not harming other people in the process.
If you don't feel like your marriage is salvageable, then you owe it to yourself to break it off and see if you can find your happiness somewhere else.
